I just want everybody to know that I have been trying to update this site but have problems uploading it and just haven’t had the time to make the phone call to get it straight. Since I‘ve last posted, basketball season has come and gone and now we are heading into spring rodeos and baseball and softball. Brett turned 11 on February 2nd and Aaron turned 16 on March 7th! That one is the scary one. We are shopping for a pickup for him and he will soon be getting his license. That milestone really makes me feel old and sick to my stomach at the same time.

Cody will be at the PBR BFTS event in Birmingham, AL this weekend to do the worship service on Sunday morning at 10:00 am. Stop by and see him on Sunday if you are there.

Cody has written a series of articles for the FCC Line Rider magazine. I have posted them on the PBRO website and you can find them here. Also, our good friend Greg Scandrett continues to write a Spirit-led/filled blog over at The View from the Juniper Tree. Please go check that out and read his postings. So much of what he has to say is relevant to what we are facing in this nation with the economy and such and God has given him a Kingdom perspective on the whole thing. You will be encouraged and challenged as well.

We pray this finds you all doing well. We really miss not seeing all of the people God put in our path over the years. Know that we think those times often as we enjoy where God has us right now. God bless!!

First of all, Happy New Year! I know it’s been a long time since I’ve posted an update and I want to apologize for that. We’ve been extremely busy and I’ve gone to work at the church (Trinity Fellowship) and unfortunately, the website suffered from the lack of time. I will try to do better!

The kids are in the heart of basketball season and we have games 5 nights a week. Some of those days we are sitting through 4 games. See where my time goes! Aaron and Lacey will be starting High School and Jr. High rodeo in February. We wouldn’t know what to do if we had extra time.

The move here to western Oklahoma has definitely been a good one for us. Of course when you are where God wants you, it’s always good.

The first PBR event Cody will be at will be Dallas. Check the PBRO schedule for details.
